Unix Systems Administration

1995–present

From 1995 to 1997 I was responsible for administering SCO Open Server with RDBMS Progress.

On March 19, 1995 I wiped the original OS from my PC and installed Linux. Since then I have been running Linux natively on all my personal computers (successively Slackware, Red Hat, Gentoo, Debian, Ubuntu).

I manage a number of servers running Linux for customers.

Over time I have administered servers running AIX, Solaris and primarily Linux.
