Firmware for IoT Board PG Board
2022
To enable communication with an IoT platform, I developed a test REST endpoint. Subsequently, I developed firmware for the PG Board with an STM32L4 microcontroller, which ensures low power consumption and reliable communication with the back-end over the NB-IoT network and the Internet:
- processing inputs from temperature and humidity sensors via I2C,
- serial communication via UART with DMA,
- support for MRAM memory,
- state machine for communication over the NB-IoT network,
- debug command line,
- board idle current consumption of 300 µA.
I also designed an expansion board for measuring current consumption when powered from a battery.
