LAN Redesign of Makro Wholesale Stores

2007

I prepared a VLAN concept and a new addressing plan for both the Czech Republic and Slovakia. I then went through each wholesale store one by one, mapped the port connections, and migrated the networks to the new design; this involved a complete switch replacement.

Approximately twenty wholesale stores underwent the redesign, ranging from Prague through Brno and Ostrava to Bratislava, Žilina, and Košice. The project also included the migration of the Bratislava headquarters and the unification of configurations in accordance with Metro group standards.
